Meplato Catalog Cloud
If you have an account with Meplato Catalog Cloud, you are all set for connecting the product catalogs from Catalog Cloud directly within Storefront.
Prerequisites
- Established business account with Meplato Catalog Cloud
- Credentials for Meplato Provisioner
Step 1: Configure access to Catalog Cloud
- Go to Administration->Tenants
- Pick the tenant to connect to Catalog Cloud
- Scroll to "Meplato Provisioner"
- Enter the email address given to you as part of the credentials
- Paste the private key given to you as part of the credentials
- Click on "Test". If the traffic light gets green, you're all set.
Step 2: (optional) Create vendor
If the vendor of your new catalog doesn't exist yet, create one like so:
- Go to Administration->Vendors
- Click "Create"
- Enter required and optional fields
- Click "Create"
Step 3: Connect a catalog
- Go to Administration->Catalogs
- Click "Create"
- Enter a catalog name, and pick the vendor you want to use
- As catalog type, select "Local catalog"
- If you want your catalog to be immediately available to your end-users, mark it as "active".
- Scroll to "Local content"
- Enter the PIN of the catalog from Meplato Provisioner
- Click "Create"
- Wait for a few minutes for the catalog to synchronize
Step 4: Watch the catalog
- Go to Administration
- Watch the "Jobs" tab for a job of type "Catalog synchronization"
- Go to the "Events" tab to look for past events of catalogs being imported
